Recipe take two

Here we are in our groups recording, discussing, changing and modifying our pancake recipe. 

We have introduced another form of measurement- the use of scales. 

Cutting our pancakes into tenths. 

Are they all equal pieces of the whole?? 

If the answer is yes we can call them a fraction!! 

Using fractions to cook

Here we are using fractions as our only form of measurement to create a recipe for pancakes. 

In groups we were given six ingredients and experimented with the ingredients to find the perfect pancake recipe.
